ISO 9001:2000 Auditing Automation.

Attn: ISO 9001:2000 Auditors.

I am currently reading my Degree in information Systems, and am
proposing a title for my thesis, which is automating the iso 9001
auditing process. I myself have undergone 9001 auditor trainng but
haven't conducted any audits myself. Therefore i would like to ask the
community to provide me with problem area's within iso 9001 which take
up a lot of the audit team's time and which you think could be
automated. I have come up with a few ideas, for example a programm
which will analyse a QA manual and provide a list of Sections to be
audited on site with the help of a ****table computer (PDA).

Your toughts and ideas are greatly appreciated.
