An Inexperienced requires aid: defect in the surface of the paper

by "Maldonado" <orlmaldonado@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 15, 2006 at 01:36 PM

Hello, i am a student of computer science, with interest in the area of
computer vision, i am making a research about the use of techniques of
image analysis to characterize a certain defect present in the recycled
paper. The phenomenon studied is the appearance of undulations or
protuberances on the paper surface some time after its production. So
far, I have not found reference or articles bibliographical that
describe a seemed phenomenon, and if some exists, I do not know the
term by which it designates to this defect in the pulp & paper world. I
will be very thankful if somebody can orient to me on the matter.
