Hello everyone,
This is my first post, so please do bear with me and point me in the
right direction if you might know where I might be able to get
relavent information to the following discussion:
I am in the process of writing an MBA dissertation - this dissertation
is about myself starting of a managment consultancy in the North West
region (Manchester) of the United Kingdom.
I have completed a literature review which has focused on
entrepreneur****p and business startups and am now looking to do some
research using a broadly quantative approach with a little bit of
qualitative research in the mix if that might be possible.
Does anybody have any ideas as to the approaches that I might take to
research in checking the validity of a business start-up in the
Manchester region. For example if I was to create a quiestionaire who
might I use as my target audience and how could I easily access these
people. What is the secondary data that I might be able to use in
conducting this research?
Also do people have any ideas on qualitative research - is there
anybody out there who has started a busines in the manchester region,
and had success or failures and is willing to be interviewed as part
of this dissertation? I guess finding people outside of the Manchester
region would be great too.
Any ideas from people would be great - please do let me know if you
are able to help or are willing to be interviewed if you think that
your skill-set maybe valid to the research in this dissertation.
In advance I thank you all for your time.
Regards,
Oz
