Internet marketing a GIANT hoax?

by porsusantom <thicks@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 23, 2008 at 01:39 AM

Hello,

Questions about the reality(s) of so called Internet marketing. Is
is fake or what am I missing.

A little bit about me. I am a gardener by trade in the Metro Seattle
area. I am also a HEAVY duty Internet techno nerd since before the
WWW started.

I the 1990s I discovered my gardening business could get good business
from being top search in Google SERP. It used to be EASY to get to
search results back 5 years ago when search results at Google were
relevant and in a alphabetical yellow pages type of order.

Around 5 years ago SERP at Google went from an order indexed to one
based on popularity. This new SERP ***RUINED*** my income.

So, in my nerd way I researched what Google search results are and
have MASSIVE amounts of information on a website dealing with my own
findings.

Then I found out how to get my gardening business TOP search at Google
and take over the top 10 or so spots after the Google business
directory. Before this the results were primarily yellow pages and
other no related information. So when I did a search for lawn mowing
Seattle unrelated topics would come up hogging and pu****ng my business
down the drain.

Today I have a site where not only my resources can be found in Google
top search but I can get almost anything indexed in Google pronto. So
far the record for getting indexed in Google is 8 minutes.

So after my long diatribe here is the dilemma I face.

I see a VALUE in being indexed and found in Google for business
purposes. I have to work for money.

What I can NOT figure out is why I have NEVER met a single person
online or off that would be interested or even have a clue why they
would want their site, products, services or ideas found in Google let
alone in a few minutes or hours.

After being online for almost two decades I am coming to believe the
Internet could be the greatest bogus hoax ever invented?

My current project has SERIOUS HARDCORE tools to create information
that is indexed by Google and get tons of links back in a very, very
short period of time.

Once again I am a VERY ****HAPPY**** camper and business person
reaping the rewards of the power of my mastery of Google indexing.

I am absolutely 100% blown away that there is ZERO interest on the
part of any business or others to get found and sold their ideas,
services of products with search engine results.

I live in a community where there is large shared computer center with
hundreds of users. Their ignorance about basic computing let alone
the Internet and the power of search engine results is astounding.

Who would think that someone would look for lawn mowing Marysville
Wa****ngton. They do and I make money.

So, how do others make money marketing since they don't use the
Internet?

Or is the ONLY way to sell something for the m***** via eBay?

Or do people have any interest or desire to sell anything in the first
place?

Thanks

Tom
