You could set up a .signature file so your URL is posted every
time you post here in USENET.  You can develop a focus group
to help you fine tune things before launch.  After launch, then
you are in the area of commercial advertising.  You can try
stuff like banner ads and google ads.  Another way is to find
out where your target market hangs around off-line, and find a
way to advertise directly to them.

There is a good book out there called Guerilla Marketing, which
focuses on lower cost higher return types of advertising for 
small businesses.  It might be worth a look-see on your part.
