Hello,
I have a Kohler bath tub drain plug (1997-8) in my bathrooms. See picture
below:

It is closed by rotating it (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and it falls
into place retaining water. I need to remove it for clearing blockage and
I
seem to have forgotten how to do it. Rotating or pulling it out does not
seem to help. I do not have the model # but the drain coverplate has the
word 'Gerber' on it.
Any hep is appreciated
