The Asterisk

The asterisk (*) was obvious next to the marked box that stated 'I
choose Not to participate in Case Management.' on the DMH-002 (8/02)
form that my wife was asked to sign firstly blank and later filled in.
After some research I noted that MDMH (Mississippi Department of Mental
Health) list Pine Belt Mental Health as region 12 on the MDMH website.
I can only assume that the form while marked as DMH-002 (8/02) is
actually a MDMH form? My wife tells me that this marked statement
and/or choice if you will was explained to her as being marked because
she doesn't have Medicaid.
With all the torture, torment and legal treachery that I as well as my
family have gone through and been exposed to it just seems somewhat
sinister for a so-called mental health organization to play with
obscure terminology and/or wording that has the ability to cause
distress and apprehension. My wife further advises me that the
counselor did not want to give her the do***ent to carry home so that
her family members could look over it but in the end he did although no
explanation of the asterisk (*) is present. My wife also tells me that
the councilor refused to allow her to attend the group therapy meeting
that she was scheduled for and had already attended the previous week
due to her not signing the so-called treatment plan.
I do not know how to counsel my wife as to any possible adversities
and/or forced commitments that may be lingering behind bold and
capitalized words with an (*) asterisk and no explanation visible other
than the word of some unknown counselor that actually means nothing
once the signature desired is secured. I personally have been told to
sign a paper and when I asked what it was I was told that it only meant
that my social security number and/or other information couldn't be
given out and upon glancing at the paper it stated that I would be
accepting a treatment plan that I had previously refused to sign.
I feel sure that MDMH knows this already so I informed my wife that I
was in no position to advise her of anything although I did recommend
that if she decided to sign the do***ent that she sign by firstly
writing above her signature UNDER DURESS.
I simply do not trust these traitorous and torturous ass-wipes
masquerading under the guise of offering to help.
They certainly do make a good showing on they're website but they do
not seem to want to convey all the treacherous and demeaning activities
they do behind they're cover-story of goodness such as forced mental
commitments, forced medication, brainwa****ng and abuses in general.
'I choose' generally means that there are some choices involved
somewhere but I can see none other than refusing to sign the 'our way
or the highway' do***ent.
