Problems with Registerfly

by petehaynes <peter.haynes@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 19, 2007 at 09:00 AM

It appears the problems with Registerfly might be more serious than
first thought.

Apparently Registerfly were taking payments for domain name renewals,
but not actually renewing the domain names. If you want to transfer
your domain name, the first link below explains how to do it. If
you've been affected by this scandal, you can register your name for a
class action suit that's being put together at the second link.

Now my problem is that I raised a dispute with PayPal and Registerfly
suspended my account so I am unable to transfer my domain name. To
make matters worse my site is unavailable. Obvoiusly I can register a
new domain name but is there anything I can do to transfer my existing
rankings with Google, MSN, etc. from the old site to the new one?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Peter
