redemption refusal

by maud.july@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sep 10, 2005 at 12:38 PM

About 2 months ago a domain name I owned reached expiration. I missed
the renewal and a couple days into the redemption period I attempted to
redeem the domain name. However I could not log into my account. I
emailed the sup****t staff and had a very long dialog. The sup****t staff
insisted I could log in, refused to reset the login info or offer
further assistance in any manner. Since I could not log in and wanted
to renew the domain name, I emailed the register repeatedly including
my credit card information (for 2 separate cards) and a written
authorization to redeem the domain and incur any charges necessary.

In addition to this I contacted another register and backordered the
domain.

Despite my best efforts: about 10 requests to reset my account info,
requests for management to get in contact with me, and authorizations
to occur charges on my credit cards, the domain name expired and was
quickly registered by someone else (despite my back ording).

My question: is do I have any recourse now? Assuming everything I say
is true and I have do***entation of it, do I have a valid case under
arbitration rules?

Is this grounds for any kind of penalty to the registrar?

Thanks.
