    Because I've seen people get themselves into bad positions because of
initial stupid moves on their parts and instead of learning from their
mistakes, their pride causes them to do things even stupider in their hope
of "just to get even"......
    They usually end up even worse off than if they had just chalked up
the
initial move to "a learning experience".......
