Beware of VERIZON'S THIEVERY!

I made a call to 411 (information service) last month on my Verizon land 
line, and the operator was unable to give me any useful information. I 
expected that I would not be charged for this, as no service was rendered.

Guess what? My Verizon bill includes a charge of $1.25 for the information

call, plus a tacked-on bull**** charge that brings the total due to $1.48!

Isn't charging for no service given called ATTEMPTED THEFT?

I complained, and was told the amount will be credited on my next bill. I 
was also told that when you call for this service (and I would assume any 
Verizon service) and don't get what you called for, YOU MUST ASK FOR
CREDIT 
in order not to be charged!

Blatant corpserate arrogance!
And they wonder why people vandalize their public phones, many of which
also 
steal your money!
