Software Companies Dropping Sup****t

by "Al" <albertr@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 19, 2008 at 01:26 PM

I'm sick and tired of large software companies like Microsoft and Symantec
dropping sup****t on their products after a few years. Obviously, they are

trying to force you into buying the latest version while the present one
works OK. Prior to buying any more software, if sup****t is im****tant, I
will inquire when they intend to drop sup****t on the particular version or

item. If they won't disclose that information, I will tell them I will
not
buy their product since I'm tired of buying a pig in a poke.
I've been unpleasantly surprise too often by their hanky panky. They
should
disclose, up front, when the sup****t period ends so that you know when you

buy and not later when you need the sup****t.
