It's also worth remembering that those idiots removed all credit
controls, in accordance with the untried economic theories of a mad
professor. They also repealed the Rent Act, then put millions of
people out of work and into a situation where these people had to
claim Housing Benefit to pay the inflated rents their landlords were
now allowed to charge. With the damage that loopy cow did to this
country, I reckon the Germans would give her a State Funeral.
