The first post was spamvertising to try and get traffic to his blog and
presumably the adverts on it.
The second was pointing at a long-established (10 years, 750 Million
visits) and wide-ranging news/review site about digital cameras of all
shapes and sizes, and with fewer adverts than most sites, even after I
turned off AdBlockPlus and NoScript.
So: yes and probably not. I guess.
