I appreciate this may be the wrong newsgroup to ask about these so if
someone could help me out i would appreciate it.
I have been looking at the Archos media player instead of a personal DVD
player to take into hopsital with me when I go. The model I think is the
605 at £249(unless anyone knows of any cheaper and better ones) from
Currys.
My question is I have boxed DVD collections of various programmes I like
to
watch and want to be able to watch them on the Archos. Is it possible to
rip
them off the dvd sets onto my laptop then transfer them onto the Archos
player so I can take them with me to hospital???
If it is how is this done. I am a real novice at this so it needs to be
very
easy for me to u nderstand so I would appreciate not a lot of jargon.
