 I suppose it's in the nature of what he's selling that they would
attract so many untrusting people?

Too many negs and neutrals within 1 month, caused by a death in the
family. I bet having all his listings ended and his Paypal account
frozen cheered him up no end. All the neutrals for slow delivery were
left less than 2 weeks from purchase, but there is no way of telling
how long they took to pay for them. 

If those neutrals weren't counted as negs he probably would have been
OK, since going by the 6 and 12 month figures he was averaging about
150 positive comments per month.
