Official Rules
1.. Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN; PURCHASE WILL
NOT IMPROVE ODDS OF WINNING. This sweeptstakes is open to legal residents
of
the United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older.
Employees of TRENDnet ("Sponsor") and each of their subsidiaries,
affiliates, parent companies, advertising, promotion or any other agencies
or entities involved with this sweepstakes and members of their immediate
families (biological or step) including parent, grandparent, child,
sibling
or spouse of any of the foregoing (regardless of where they live), or
households of any of the above, whether related or not, are NOT eligible
to
participate.
2.. Winners may be required to submit a signed affidavit certifying
their
eligibility within 30 days of notification. Failure to submit a properly
completed affidavit may result in selection of an alternate winner. All
federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where
prohibited
or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole
responsibility of the winner. Retail prize value will vary; a 1099 form
will
be filed, when applicable, with the IRS in accordance with IRS
regulations.
3.. Limit one entry per person per household. Once a month, all eligible
registrants will be entered to win TRENDnet's Monthly Giveaway given
determined by a random drawing of all eligible registrants. Random drawing
will occur on the 15th day of the month. If the 15th day of the month
falls
on a non business day, then the drawing will occur at the next available
business day. Winners will be notified by email within 1 business day of
the
drawing and will be required to provide ****pping information in a return
email. If the winner does not respond via email within 10 business days, a
new winner will be determined by random drawing.
4.. To receive a list of winner's names, send a self-addressed, stamped
envelope to TRENDnet's Monthly Giveaway, 20675 Manhattan Place, Torrance,
California 90501. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible
entries received and submitted in accordance with the rules
5.. All winners accepting prizes agree that all prizes are awarded on
the
condition that TRENDnet and its agents, representatives, affiliates, and
employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or
damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the
prizes. Each winner further acknowledges that TRENDnet is not responsible
or
liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied,
in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its
quality, mechanical condition, or fitness. No winner may make any
substitutions or transfers of any prize. TRENDnet reserves the right to
substitute cash or a similar prize of equal or greater value. By
completing
and submitting a registration for TRENDnet's Monthly Giveaway, the
registrant agrees to abide by the terms of these official rules and the
decisions of TRENDnet which are final and binding on all matters
pertaining
to the giveaways. All entries become the property of TRENDnet, and will
not
be returned. TRENDnet will arrange for delivery of all prizes. Any prize
notification or prize that is returned as undeliverable will result in the
awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by
law, each winner consents to the use of their name and entry (with the
exception of the winner's contact information, including address,
telephone
number and email address) in any manner by TRENDnet and its advertising
and
promotion agencies without further compensation. TRENDnet and its
affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and related companies shall not be
responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that any winner might
incur
as a result of TRENDnet's Monthly Giveaway or receipt of any prize.
6.. TRENDnet assumes no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission,
communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access
to,
or alteration of, entries. TRENDnet is not responsible for any problems or
technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online
systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of
any
email or entry to be received by TRENDnet on account of technical problems
or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any
combination
thereof, including any injury or damage to registrants' or any other
person's computer related to or resulting from participation or
downloading
any materials in the giveaways. Entries will be deemed made by the
authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of
entry. Authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is
assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service
provider, or other Online organization that is responsible for assigning
email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email
address.
Each potential winner may be requested to provide TRENDnet with proof that
the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address
associated with the potentially winning entry. TRENDnet may cancel or
suspend the giveaway and will have no liability whatsoever if for any
reason
the giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including infection,
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud,
technical
failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of TRENDnet.
TRENDnet reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any
individual who corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness,
integrity, or proper conduct of the giveaway or tampers with the entry
process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the giveaway.
