Always pay the renewal.  If you don't get termites for 20 years, you
both win.  The company wins because they get paid and you win because
you don't have to pay for repairs, having sweaty, dirty workers in
your house and all the dust, debris and noise.

It's been a long time and I imagine the original treatment is totally
gone.  Make them inspect each year before you pay your renewal.  They
ought to honor their renewal guarantee with or without a booster-
treatment.
