Re: Are mosquitoes* attracted by CO² ?

by "TE Chea" <4ws@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 22, 2007 at 05:56 PM

| cannot see how sugar would eliminate it
I remember my high school book says sugary fluid is *' food.

| Does the mosquito stick to the syrup?
This article says cut a plastic bottle's top ¼, invert this ¼
then fit into ¾ of bottle, this round joint must be air tight so
CO² can exit only through this ¼ 's ( small, original ) centre
hole. I suspect * after entering this dark bottle [i] will not be
able to ascend ( vertically enough ) out of this small hole ( 21
mm Ø ) [ii] high CO² concentration make * dizzy.
