Two things to add to the story.
Anyway, my real estate agent has been very pleasant rather than sullen.
Last week she
invited me to a balalaika concert, because she was pretty sure that I
still lived near where it was being held. She was going to pick me up!
ANd
take me home!
She blows my mind.
In any event, when I was in charge, I was invited for one of
those things, as being a mentor for one of the students. My relator was
one
of them too. Spouses and family were invited. She invited her husband.
That they got married in their late 40s is also a shock.

I will never interact with Dale on a business level any longer, because I
have already purchased and settled, but I may see him
on the plaza all the time, because he parks his car there (probably
and accommodation for his alleged stroke). So I see him when I
get in and go home. I also see him on his "i shall not be deterred"
trips. but you know what I mean.
Dale is himself a piano player, who in his older years (he's about our
age) took up the accordion. His accorion club sponsored the balalaikas.
And this week he is involved in a grand week long accordion
players convention.
he's had a stroke but plays the piano and accordion. Isn't that amazing?
This blows my mind even more. I don't know if you remember, but he
is on his second marriage. I think he's a widower. I expected an
edentulous redneck with social skill
problems. His spouse is tall, handsome, has a beautiful head of
light brown hair, and socially, is pleasant, and in fact
entertaining. the spouse was dressed totally gq. also employed. Can't
remember what, but like a total nonloser.
He spent the entire event beaming at the spouse and commenting on how
proud
he was of her.
