Well with the 2 posts so far I can say *PissMythBusted*.....
I use the black boxes with the 3 way pass through and the
rodenticide inside....they are chained to some object for some strange
reason...theft?...hopping away?....
Mechanical traps are a quick catch.....maybe 2 hours even for Wharf
Rats.........I use a solid piece of well anchored Pepperoni, maybe a solid
piece of well anchored of peanut butter would work as well.....as long as
you don't catch a Cat instead, but Cats don't hang around rats unless it's
a
bobcat....
I don't know much about drown traps yet....
It's too bad about warm motored vehicles in the cold weather, rat's
chew wire (insulation) and that costs a bundle, so I like to take all the
necessary precautions in case.
