I met a man who got rid of all the squirrels by nailing four glass pop
bottles to a tree, and it actually worked. He drove some long nails into a
tree in his front yard, and a tree in his back yard, around 8 to 10 feet
off
the ground. The nails are driven straight in, and stick straight out the
side of the tree at a 90 degree angle in order that the bottles can be
slid
over the nails leaving the bottles sticking sideways out the side of the
trees . I looked around and there is not one squirrel anywhere in the
area.
He is an old man and explained how it works. It was something about the
squirrels see the glass as a liquid, etc.. Has anyone in this group tried
this or heard of it?
