My wife took our 22# dog to the vet this week for her shots. The vet
prescribed Sentinel to protect against fleas and heartworm. I am
wondering if this is the most safe and effective solution for the dog
or if it is simply the most convenient for the owners.
It seems logical to me that using an external product like Frontline
would have to be safer than a drug taken internally. I have no idea
about which product is more effective. I hope that someone here can
enlighten me about both issues and what to do about heartworm
protection.
