Hi all
just wondering if you can help. i am a human resources manager. i've
been posting w Monster for years. recently i got a call from hotjobs,
the rep told me they were doing better than monster, sent me all these
charts and told me to post our job up w them, they would get us more
resumes. so i did, and they stink! i've had my job posting up for 3
weeks and not 1 resume. so i called and said this is terrible, by this
time i would have had 100 resumes back from monster, can i cancel
this? they said they have a non-cancellation policy. i told them i
thought this was a total scam. they said sorry, no refunds. i paid
$1500, i know, i feel like an idiot. she sent me tons of charts and
all these things saying they were blowing away monster, and i have not
gotten 1 resume, it's ridiculous. anyway, i paid w my company's
amex. i was thinking, is there any way we can dispute the charge? i
don't mind them prorating the 3 weeks i've used, i just want the
remainder back. they won't prorate or refund anything, i think they
know they suck and are just trying to make money. i've escalated all
the way up to the Director of Sales for the region and no luck. like i
said i dont' mind paying a prorated amount, or a fee of some kind, but
i think i deserve at least part of the $ back since they were
completely full of it. any ideas on how i can dispute this with
American Express?
Thanks
CM
