On Rising Fuel/Food Prices Worldwide!

On rising gas/oil prices and rising food prices: Since we are occupying
Iraq 
and Afghanistan where all the oil is, how come we're having an
oil/gasoline 
shortage problem? Why aren't we getting oil from them for us being there 
defending them? We're pouring billions into their country breaking our own

ecomomy with a huge federal deficit, rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan, 
feeding those people and rebuilding their infrastructure, yet we're not 
reaping the benefits of their oil wells. Anyone ever think about that? Why

aren't the presidential candidates talking about this? Lastly, over 3,000 
Americans have given their lives in this war to defend the oil-rich area. 
Are their lives worth nothing? We should be hauling oil out of there like 
mad in payment for our help. These are the questions people should be
asking 
presidential candidates, instead of the usual rhetoric. The candidates 
should address these issues which are im****tant to Americans.
