I have a '99 S-10 2.2L Engine 4L60E trans. If I drive 55MPH or higher for
fifteen or twenty minutes, after comming to a stop all ****fts are
extremely
harsh. Turning off the ignition and restarting eliminates the problem.
After
an hour or so of highway driving I also get a check engine light. The code
indicates a slipping transmission. But my tachometer readings are normal.
The light goes out after a day or two of normal city driving. Anyone ever
heard of this problem and know a fix?
