That approach has some real downsides, most obviously when
someone from the hospital calls you to tell you that your wife or
kid etc is in that hospital because its had a serious accident etc.

And some who are calling you for a good reason wont leave a message.

Wrong.

I've had some telemarketing calls that were useful.

The ones that arent I just tell not to call me again.
