Do you think that this is a good price?
I called Meineke and asked how much they would charge for just pads and
shoes for my 1998 van. The guy on the phone said that they would have
to see the car and could not give me a price over the phone. Other
service places could. So I took the van in to Meineke and this is what
the guy told me.
Break job for $505.01 consisting of only front pads, front rotors, and
rear wheel cylinders.
He told me that:
pads are 49.50
Rotors are 50.00
Cylinders are 50.00
I guess they want $250 for labor. RIGHT!! LMAO Plus he is making up
the parts.
Oh, he also said that the rotors could no be turned because they had
some pits in them. The pits are about 1/32 deep. Turning would get rid
of the pits, or do they re-pit them too. lol.
