The articles are not advocating moving to Vista at all.

They are just pointing out that some sites will have problems they are 
not expecting with Vista and also Update Now features.

In fact it tells you how to uninstall / revert back to a stable 
position if you are caught out with illegal software and find your 
systems are crippled. This is to allow you time to rectify the 
situation, it doesn't say go out and buy Vista.
