There is an alternative. There is another way, a better way.
Remember that old 'commune' movement back in the '60s? "Let's all live
together in peace and harmony and share what we have to make a better
world"
Guess what? 'Communes' grew up!! Now called 'Intentional Communities', you
can find everything from egalitarian (all are equal), income-sharing,
eco-villages to 'spiritual retreats'. Some places you 'buy' into and get
your own place, other places don't require any 'investment' other than
your
ability and willingness to help out. Awesome places to raise kids (think
ideally no violence, no corruption, no commercialism, healthy fresh
organic
food, YOU control your child's curriculum).
