FAA, Lies and Noise Torture!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
As Bill Sees It: (Editorial) Governmental Secrecy And Lying Is A Way Of
Life: This week President Moronic Polluter revealed the existence of
"secret" CIA prisons where "high value" Islamic extremist prisoners
experienced such treatment as "water boarding" and noise bombardment.
Water
boarding is a torture where prisoners are subjected to water being poured
over their face while a cloth is over their face to give them the feeling
that they are drowning!!! Noise is apparently another method that the U.S.
government uses to torture their prisoners, along with sleep deprivation.
Maybe we will find out they use noise to deprive prisoners of sleep. How
does the government get away with this torture? It's easy...they LIE!!!
When
they get caught lying, they have more lies and justifications ready to use
to conceal their dirty work.
Does The CIA Use FAA Noise Torturers As Consultants? I couldn't help but
wonder if they used FAA consultants in the secret CIA prisons to help with
the noise and sleep deprivation tortures. After all the FAA are experts on
twenty-four hour-a-day noise torture and sleep deprivation of Americans.
As
the recent Airspace Redesign Plan shows, the FAA are also experts on the
creation of clever lies to justify the torture of their concentrated
overflights over politically weak communities. Bush lied about the weapons
of mass destruction to drag us into a war in Iraq, the EPA lied about the
air at the World Trade Center site being dangerous and the FAA lies about
and hides aviation noise impacts on communities. To "our" public servants,
lying to the public, who they obviously have the utmost contempt for, is
a
way of life.
Comair Crash: Kentucky Crash FAA Controller Still Anonymous!!! As a union
member myself I think that the brotherhood of people in unions is
admirable;
but there are 49 people dead in the Kentucky crash and obviously somebody
made a mistake. It seems that whenever a airplane crashes a secrecy wall
goes up around it. No other accidents get this kind of secrecy designation
where there is virtually a media blackout to allegedly to "protect the
families" (actually the airlines and the government). I've never seen so
few
pictures of a major air crash. What were the last words of the pilot and
co-pilot? There seems to be a lot of questions about the controller on
duty
only having "two hours sleep." The media seems to have forgotten about
this
crash and the many questions surrounding it. Shame on them.
FAA Demands Air Traffic Controllers Stop Sleeping On The Job!!! I'm sure
most people were surprised that overpaid air traffic controllers get to
take
naps on their jobs. I was. However, I am not as opposed to sleeping on
some
jobs as I'm sure many people are. Firefighters sleep on their jobs during
night tours yet quickly manage to jump into action. The question is not
whether a person is sleeping on the job, but if that sleep is negatively
or
positively effecting the job he or she does. Naps are seen by many
controllers as necessary... especially in light of the revelation the
controller on duty at Blue Grass Air****t the morning of the Comair
accident
had slept for only two hours between working separate full-time ****fts. .
FAA's Approves Safety Seat For Kids, But Infants Still Unprotected!!! The
FAA is giving the false impression that they are protecting children by
instituting a new policy that allows children to have safety harnesses.
However, these can only be used for children one-year-old and above who
sit
in their own seat. Unfortunately, this still doesn't solve the "infant
cannonball" problem when mothers carry their babies in their arms and they
become human projectiles when a plane crashes. The FAA still allows
mothers
to carry infants in their arms and the flying public is not mandated to
use
a FAA approved car seat for them. I think this is very dangerous. If it
is
a matter of money, the airlines should be made to provide a seat and
safety
seat for infants...for free if necessary.
FAA Lid Of Secrecy Covering (Up) The Kentucky Comair Crash? Nearly two
weeks
since the Comair jet crash that killed 49 people, the air traffic
controller
on duty at the time has not returned to work, and those who know him are
revealing next to nothing - not even his name. People who know him
personally say that he is a 17-year veteran nearing retirement and that he
is under strict orders from the Federal Aviation Administration and crash
investigators not to speak publicly about the crash or risk losing his job
and pension. "It's the foxhole mentality," said Doug Church, spokesman for
the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. "These are brothers in
arms. They have each other's backs." The names and backgrounds of the
now-dead pilot who steered the commuter plane onto the wrong runway and
the
injured co-pilot who was at the controls are widely known. But the
government and the controllers union refuse even to release the list of
the
19 controllers who work at the Lexington air****t.

FAA Bosses Cracking Down On Sleeping Controllers: LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The
Federal Aviation Administration is cracking down on air traffic
controllers
who nap during break time, overruling standing policy in at least one
control center. FAA workers at an Indianapolis control center -- which
handles flight traffic into air****ts in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio
and West Virginia -- were notified during the weekend that the agency was
ending a policy that allowed workers to doze off during down time. They
were
later told disciplinary action could include suspension. National
guidelines
against napping are not new, but workers at local control towers and
regional radar centers had the ability to negotiate local rules on the
issue. The action voids all local agreements, FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown
said. During some late-night ****fts, they say, a controller could go two
to
three hours without needing to watch a single plane. They are allowed to
go
to a break room during this time to rest. Each controller wears a pager so
they can be contacted immediately. ''It just seems ambiguous and
punitive,''
said Dave O'Malley, union representative for the Indianapolis control
center. ''The work itself requires you to rest and recoup between the
sessions.'' http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-nap09.html
Congressman Calls For The Firing Of FAA Monster Over Crashed Plane!!!
WA****NGTON - Rep. Tom Tancredo has called for firing the heads of the
Federal Aviation Administration and National Trans****tation Safety Board,
saying they have ignored his warnings about a type of aircraft that
crashed
in Centennial in 2004. Tancredo, R-Littleton, is upset over the way FAA
Administrator Marion Blakey and NTSB chairman Mark Rosenker have handled
complaints questioning the safety of Mitsubi**** Heavy Industries' MU-2
aircraft. That type of aircraft crashed on Dec. 10, 2004, shortly after
takeoff from Centennial Air****t, killing two pilots." As far back as the
spring of 2005, I asked the FAA to 'ground' the Mitsubi**** MU-2 series
aircraft due to its shockingly high accident rate," Tancredo said in a
release Friday. "Because (Blakey and Rosenker) have consistently failed to
take appropriate action on this issue despite repeated warnings about the
aircraft's suitability for use, I believe the public would be well served
if
they were replaced by administrators willing to act swiftly and
deliberately
on this matter." "We have no comment directly to Congressman Tancredo's
press release," Holloway said. "However, it should be noted that the NTSB
has investigated several fatal MU-2 accidents in the United States in the
past two years and found no common airworthiness issues that could have
been
contributing factors in these recent accidents. We have no open
recommendations involving that aircraft. Questions about any *****sment of
the aircraft's continuing airworthiness should be directed to the FAA."
Editor's Note: And Rep. Tancredo is also against amnesty for illegal alien
invaders!!!

Secretive, New Boeing 747 "Whalejet" Tested In TAIWAN!!! All of you out
there who, perhaps somewhat derisively, refer to the Airbus A380 as the
"whalejet" better take a look at the latest Boeing to take flight. The
747-400 Large Cargo Freighter -- with a fuselage only an engineer could
love -- took to the skies for the first time Friday morning, initiating
the
flight test program that will culminate in US Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) certification for the large trans****t plane. The
two-hour, four-minute flight was the first of 250 expected flight test
hours
for the unique freighter -- a specially modified 747-400, that will
trans****t major composite structures of the all-new 787 Dreamliner. The
enormous jet -- with its enlarged upper fuselage that can accommodate
three
times the cargo by volume of a standard 747-400 freighter -- took off
under
rainy skies from Taiwan Taoyuan International Air****t. Boeing flight test
pilots, Capts. Joe MacDonald and Randy Wyatt, took the airplane north, and
then flew roughly 150 miles south following along the east side of the
island before heading north again. Editor's Note: The only pictures I
could
find of it were these very small ones. Seems like they are hiding
something.
Interesting that they are testing it in Taiwan, not America. With three
times the cargo capacity of 747 isn't this a new plane? Perhaps calling it
a
747 was done to get around doing certification or noise tests.
"Harness-Type Safety Seat Approved By The FAA: WA****NGTON - The Federal
Aviation Administration said on Wednesday it has approved the first
harness-type child safety device for sale to consumers for use on
commercial
airline flights. The CARES device, produced by Phoenix-based AmSafe
Aviation, involves a belt and shoulder harness that goes around the adult
seat back and attaches to the adult passenger lap belt. It provides upper
torso restraint for young children who lack the upper body strength to
brace
themselves during turbulence or other incidents, said the product's
founder,
Louise Stoll. CARES, which stands for "Child Aviation Restraint," is
designed for children more than 1 year old who weigh between 22 and 44
pounds and sit in their own seat. Unlike hard-backed child safety seats
approved for use in both airplanes and motor vehicles, the new device was
designed and tested specifically for use in airplanes and is not approved
for use in motor vehicles.

Comair Crash Controller Warned To Keep Mouth Shut
http://www.townhall.com/News/NewsArticle.aspx?contentGUID=10b96771-7ec3-47b7-bc35-98b60103d6c6
Nearly two weeks since the Comair jet crash that killed 49 people, the air
traffic controller on duty at the time has not returned to work, and those
who know him are revealing next to nothing _ not even his name.
People who know him personally say that he is a 17-year veteran nearing
retirement and that he is under strict orders from the Federal Aviation
Administration and crash investigators not to speak publicly about the
crash
or risk losing his job and pension.
"It's the foxhole mentality," said Doug Church, spokesman for the National
Air Traffic Controllers Association. "These are brothers in arms. They
have
each other's backs."
The names and backgrounds of the now-dead pilot who steered the commuter
plane onto the wrong runway and the injured co-pilot who was at the
controls
are widely known. But the government and the controllers union refuse even
to release the list of the 19 controllers who work at the Lexington
air****t.
The man's fellow controllers are bound by strict guidelines against
talking
with the media, particularly during an investigation.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown said there is no
reason for her to release the controller's name, either. Brown would say
only that he has not been to work since the crash but remains on the FAA
payroll.
Although FAA guidelines called for two controllers to be on duty in the
Lexington tower the morning of the Aug. 27 crash, only one was there.
Investigators say the controller got only two hours of sleep before
re****ting for duty and had his back turned and was doing paperwork when
the
plane turned onto a too-short runway in the dark. The jet struggled to get
into the air and crashed.
The National Trans****tation Safety Board has interviewed him privately and
is expected to hold public hearings on the accident eventually. He could
be
one of the witnesses.
In another recent case, investigators say a tired air traffic controller
was
involved in the near-crash of two jetliners at the Los Angeles air****t.
After a two-year investigation, that controller's name still has not been
released.
