Our local community has a complaint line but all they can do is try to
contact the pilot by radio. I've had the same nuisance flyer for going
on three years now doing aerobatics in a real loud plane almost
everyday. They have no markings and the consistant flight pattern
would suggest they live locally.
When I contacted the air****t manager | was surprised to find there is
no requirement for filing a flight plan. Nor is there any inspection
for Canadian flyers checking into the us. Nor is there any provision
against Canadian flyers landing in private fields or pastures. We live
in Uncontrolled Airspace. Which is funny considering I can't go out in
a row boat without being finger searched by the FBI. (Not kidding-
50cal machine guns and the whole swat gestapo kit.). Nothing against
Canadians, it just seemed stupid and unfair that boaters have been
seriously curtailed while pilots are unaffected by the Bushstopo Act.
What's a person to do?
