The homeless, and being industrious

by "Frank" <frank.greenefowlkes@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 9, 2006 at 11:55 AM

I'm going to write more about this when I get sometime. I been thinking
about this since my last visit to Los Angeles. I was thinking about the
homeless there and how, in some respects, they're indrustrious, and in
others, they are not.

I was thinking about ways they could add value to something where there
would have never been any value at all to begin with. If someone is
going to remain homeless, they might as well make the most out of it.
What I mean by being industrious, is taking what you got, and doing
something with it. When you're homeless there isn't a lot.

*I was thinking about how they could take a blank piece of heavy paper
and make postcards out of it; they could sell them to the tourist for a
dollar a piece.

*Buying 10 Bic pens, transparent tape, getting some scratch paper, some
imagination; and selling them, for a dollar a piece.

*taking something nobody wants, doing something to it, to where
somebody might want it.

This is brief. I'm going to write more.

Pictures, pictures, pictures, I got a web site where I'm going to post
some.
